BUCA Services Co. Ltd. proudly introduces its brand new gas station BUCA GAS STATION to the residents of Belmopan and surrounding areas on Friday, September 12, 2008.

Opening Hours: Everyday from 5:30 am to 11 pm

The Company opened its doors for business some 15 years ago, on November 8, 1993. Buca Services Co. Ltd. offers all car care needs, such as oil change, engine wash, under wash, grease job, radiator flush, shock absorber change, total vehicle cleaning and detailing, etc. It is a one-stop auto care/service center. It was established to do business in tires and related accessories, wheel balancing, general motor vehicle servicing, sell batteries as well as to buy and sell gasoline and petroleum products.

After managing the Belmopan Shell Service Station for 14 years under Shell Belize Ltd and Sol Belize Ltd, the contract was not renewed. BUCA Services Co. Ltd. decided to go full steam ahead with its original plans to build its own independent gasoline service station on its compound. The Hulse family, which has more than 48 years in the gas station business, had plans drawn up, met with all the relevant agencies involved and contacted the different building contractors. Soon, construction began and within five months, under the watchful eye of residents, BUCA Gas Station came into being.

The spanking new, privately owned station open to serve the public on September 12, 2008. It boasts four pumps with 16 dispensers and fuel tank storage capacity of 16,000 gallons plus a fully stocked convenience store. It offers both Belize Tele-media Co.’s“Fone TopUp” and SMART’s “Gimme Dalla” phone services. The gas station’s fuel is supplied by Petro Fuel Belize Ltd., of Big Creek. This company imports its fuel from Venezuela, South America. This enables BUCA to offer the best fuel prices to customers in this area, with fast efficient and courteous service everyday from 5:30 am to 11 pm – fulfilling its motto, …”We aim to please!”

Coming soon is the fulfillment of its promise to be the first 24-hour service station in the capital city. A commitment has also been received from Belize Telemedia to put a public pay phone on the property.
